Music with Meaning: Popolo Music Group’s Outreach in Tondo, Cebu & Dumaguete

Manila, Philippines — December 23, 2025 — In a heartfelt demonstration of
compassion and community spirit, Popolo Music Group (PMG) and its trainee
artists conducted a Christmas outreach event in the underserved district of Tondo,
Manila — one of the most economically challenged areas in the country.

As part of PMG’s ongoing commitment to purpose beyond performance, the
trainees from Team A spent the day distributing nutritious meals and
toys to over 150 children and their families, bringing joy and support to a
community that continues to face daily struggles with poverty and limited
access to resources.

The event was filled with laughter, music, and warmth, as PMG trainees
personally engaged with the children, offering not just gifts, but their time,
energy, and compassion. The outreach is part of PMG’s broader mission to
cultivate not only world-class performers but also socially responsible
individuals who understand the importance of giving back.

“At PMG, we believe that music and fame mean nothing without heart,” said
a PMG Talent Manager, Roni Mcay. “We train our artists to use their platforms
to uplift others — and this outreach in Tondo is a reflection of that value in
action.”

Earlier PMG Outreach Events

This event in Tondo follows a series of recent outreach initiatives under
PMG’s expanded Thanksgiving and holiday programs, each focused on uplifting
vulnerable communities:

  • On December 21,
2025, in Cebu City, PMG visited the Little Lamb Center, a residential care
facility run by the Missionaries of the Poor for abandoned children with
severe disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism spectrum
disorder, and Down syndrome. The activity emphasized personal interaction,
assisted care, sensory-safe engagement, and emotional support, coordinated
    closely with caregivers and missionaries.
  • On November 29,
2025, in Dumaguete, PMG organized a humanitarian outreach event providing food
assistance to 60 typhoon-affected families in a local barangay. This
initiative, held in celebration of Thanksgiving, underscored PMG’s
commitment to community solidarity in times of crisis.
  • On November 22,
2025, the PMG Cebu Team also conducted a separate outreach activity at the
Hope of Mandaue Enhanced (HOMe) Children’s Center. This facility houses 20
children who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or need temporary
protective custody under the care of the City Social Welfare Services
(CSWS). PMG’s engagement focused on providing emotional support, essential
items, and creating a day of meaningful interaction for children in
    extremely vulnerable circumstances.

Together, these events reflect PMG’s expanding vision to combine artistic
excellence with active community engagement, demonstrating that impact goes far
beyond the stage. Popolo
Music Group (PMG), founded in 2020 by Paul Pooh Lunt, began as a concert
promotion venture and grew into a full-fledged P-pop and K-pop record label.
Dedicated to artist training, cultural impact, and global reach, PMG aims to
place the Philippines on the world pop stage through music, purpose, and
leadership.
