Manila, Philippines — October 2025 — At just 18, Saksham Kumar, a young pilot who moved from India to the Philippines ten years ago due to his father’s job, is bringing a fresh perspective to tourism through his personal passion project, SkyBridges. What began as a way to showcase the country’s stunning landscapes and rich history from above has grown into a mission with heart.
When Saksham arrived in the Philippines, he was struck by its natural beauty and cultural depth. Inspired to share that experience, he founded SkyBridges, partnering with charter airlines and tourism companies to conduct aerial tours of the nation’s hidden gems. Initially, he started as an in-flight tour guide, enriching passenger experience through narration and seeing the Philippines from a new angle—literally and figuratively.
But SkyBridges goes beyond tourism. All of its profits are donated to provide medical aid and relief to isolated communities hit by typhoons. The initiative has helped airlift essential supplies and support during disasters, turning tourism into a tool for hope.
Now training as a student pilot, Saksham continues to pursue his dream of using aviation not only to connect people with places but to uplift lives.
